Manchester Lighting & Production Services LTD Booking Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Deposit
A non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the total invoice is required to secure the booking.
The deposit must be paid to confirm the booking. Until the deposit is paid, the booking is not confirmed and only considered a pencil.
The remaining balance is due within 30 days of the final invoice being issued to the client after the shoot.
2. Payment
Payment can be made via bank transfer only.
In accordance with Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, Late payments are charged at £40.
We withhold our right to to charge interest on any overdue amounts at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, calculated on a daily basis from the due date until the full payment is made.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
If the client wishes to cancel the booking, the deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the event. If canceled within 7 days, the client will be required to pay 50% of the total booking price.
4. Changes to the Agreement
Any changes to the original booking, including location, timing, or event details, must be provided in writing at least 7 days before the event.
Additional charges may apply for significant changes, depending on the nature and scope of the adjustments.
5. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to provide us with necessary access to locations and equipment.
The client must ensure a suitable environment for filming, including appropriate lighting, power outlets, and a safe shooting area.
The client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or permissions for filming at specific locations.
6. Force Majeure
Neither party will be held liable for any failure to perform due to unforeseen events beyond their control, including natural disasters, illness, or other emergencies.
7. Agreement & Acceptance
By signing this agreement, the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions.
